Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to analyze the issues or topics which has directly or indirectly affect international relations.

Course Content

Globalization, the demise of the Soviet Union and its effects, identity-nationalism, historiography and international relations, changing security perceptions, use of force according to the United Nations, terrorism and human rights, migration, asylum, statelessness, economic dependency, energy security, water problem, nuclear issues, environmental problems, etc.

1.Analyse the international contemporary issues and their sources.
2.Follow the political, social, and economic processes in the world in detail.
3.Analyse Turkey’s approach to certain international contemporary issues
