The aim of this course is to deal with the economic situation in Turkey from the beginning of the Republican period to the present day, to explain the policies implemented in these periods, the steps taken and their results, and to enable students to make comparative analyses.

Within the scope of this course, global and national developments in the process after the proclamation of the Republic will be discussed and the main economic views of today will be examined. Thus, the main characteristics of the periods will be revealed.
