Objectives of the Course

This course aims to introduce main principles and general characteristics of Turkish Administrative Law and to examine the legal relationship between individuals and the Administration as an extension of the Executive power.

Course Content

We will examine the sources of agency authority, the limitations on agency actions, the procedures that agencies must use in rulemaking and adjudication, and the availability and scope of judicial review of agency actions by explaining basic principles of administrative law, sources of administrative organization, functioning of administration, civil servants, public goods
