Objectives of the Course

The course aims to provide students with a basic notion of international law.

Course Content

This course covers the contents of International Law, basic principles and history, sources of international law; law of treaties, the state as the main subject of law, and sea, air and land territory as the sovereignty areas of the state.

1.Students will be able to recognize the basic concepts and principles of international law and the fundamental concepts of international law and order.
2.Students will be able to have information about the international law, its sources and contacts in the basic course; the authority of the state, the use of force in international law and the relationship between international law and domestic law.
3.Students will be able tocomprehend the emergence and evolution of international law.
4.Students will be able to analyze the relationship between international law and international system.
5. Students will be able to analyze current IR issues from an international law perspective.
