Objectives of the Course

This course aims to introduce students to sociology as a basic science and to convey basic knowledge. At this point, it is aimed to increase the awareness level of the students about the basic concepts, approaches and theories of sociology and to activate their analysis ability.

Course Content

In this course, it is aimed to understand what is the society, the institutions (economy, religion, politics, family, etc.) which are the components of the society culture, stratification etc. and those concepts will be analyzed.
