Objectives of the Course

To provide to students to learn horticultural applications with practicess and improve their analytical thinking ability. To meet the local farmer or companies with students and to understand the private sector and farmer work conditions. To provide the joining of the students to some conferences and meetings which discussed local problems of farmers and their solution suggestion.

Course Content

Collecting, harvesting and storing vegetable and ornamental plant seeds under appropriate conditions, taking cuttings to obtain fruit and vineyard saplings, planting them in fogging perlite-filled media, and grafting grafted vine saplings on the table. Pruning of fruit trees and vineyards. Implementation of necessary care conditions in greenhouse vegetable cultivation. Among the large agricultural enterprises of the region, olive sapling production enterprises and greenhouse soilless tomato cultivation, etc. visiting businesses. Attending panels and congresses organized by our faculty or other instituations.
