Objectives of the Course

Teaching important weeds that are problematic in agricultural areas and methods of controlling them.

Course Content

This course provides information about important weeds that are problematic in agricultural areas, cultural, physical, and biological control methods that can be used to control them, the concepts used when deciding on control methods, and calibration calculations in chemical control.

Name of Lecturer(s)
Lec. Filiz ERBAŞ
Prof. Mehmet Nedim DOĞAN
Learning Outcomes
1.Cultural methods of weed control are learned.
2.Physical methods of weed control are learned.
3.The methods used in biological weed control and the factors that limit them are learned.
4.The concepts such as economic damage threshold and critical period used when deciding on weed control, as well as calibration calculations used in chemical control are learned.
