Objectives of the Course

Will be given general information about the plant virology. Common pant virus diseases in the world and our country will be explained.

Course Content

This course consists of two main parts. These are general plant virology and important plant virus diseases. General properties of viruses to cause disease in plants, the origins, the history of plant virology, viruses establish disease, symptoms of virus agents, viruses, nomenclature, classification, genome structure, morphological structure, chemical composition, replications, and, host to host trasmission ways, methods of diagnosis, virus diseases ways to protect ; Virus diseases of the field crops, legumes, gramineaes, horticultural crops, vegetables and ornamental plants will be explained
