Objectives of the Course

This course is aimed to provide students to conduct research in the field of interest and investigate a specific subject, and to present the results of the research projects and to prepare a printed thesis and gain experience in present the result.

Course Content

Students are management by their advisors review of the literature, and evaluation the results of research, and make a presentation of the thesis topic. Then the data edited as thesis.

Learning Outcomes

1.	Identifies agricultural problems within the framework of the scientific method and develops a research plan to address and solve them.
2.	Accesses scientific information sources, conducts thorough literature reviews, evaluates relevant studies, and synthesizes information in relation to the research topic.
3.	Designs appropriate materials and methods for research objectives, plans the research process, and conducts studies in accordance with ethical principles.
4.	Collects, analyzes, and interprets research data, and evaluates findings in the context of existing scientific literature.
5.	Prepares research reports or theses in accordance with scientific writing standards, applies appropriate citation and referencing methods, and effectively communicates research findings through written and oral presentations.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents

Week 1 - Practice

Introduction to the course, explanation of the project/thesis process, discussion of potential thesis topics, identification of students’ research interests, and outlining the scientific research planning process

Week 2 - Practice

Clarification of thesis topics, conducting preliminary research, and defining the research problem.

Week 3 - Practice

Scientific literature search methods, use of academic databases, and evaluation of scientific sources.

Week 4 - Practice

Scientific ethics, plagiarism, and the principles of research and publication ethics.

Week 5 - Practice

Examination of the thesis writing guidelines, citation rules, and bibliography preparation methods.(Assignment submission)

Week 6 - Practice

Formulation of the research objectives, scope, and hypotheses; preparation of the aim and rationale statements.

Week 7 - Practice

Development of the overall thesis structure, determination of main and subheadings, and preparation of the introduction section.

Week 8 - Practice

Literature collection, review, and evaluation; classification of the literature and establishing its relevance to the research topic.

Week 9 - Practice

Planning the Materials and Methods section, including the research design and implementation procedures.

Week 10 - Practice

Conducting research/experimental studies, collecting data and findings, and maintaining research records.

Week 11 - Practice

Organizing and analyzing data, preparing tables and figures, and interpreting and discussing the findings.

Week 12 - Practice

Preparation of the conclusion section, completion of the thesis manuscript, and organization of supplementary sections such as the abstract, table of contents, and acknowledgements.

Week 13 - Practice

Preparation of the thesis presentation, evaluation of presentation techniques, and conducting rehearsal presentations.

Week 14 - Practice

Oral presentation of the thesis/project before an audience, evaluation of the work, and receiving feedback.
