Objectives of the Course

To provide information on the classification of herbicides, factors that increase the effectiveness of herbicide application, selectivity in herbicides, herbicide resistance and herbicides used in cultivated plants.

Course Content

Classification of herbicides according to application time, chemical structure, transport and mobility in the plant, selectivity and mechanisms of action, effects of deposition, retention, penetration, translocation and metabolism on the effectiveness of herbicide application, selectivity in herbicides due to morphological, physiological properties and application techniques, reasons for resistance to herbicides, resistance mechanisms and resistance types, herbicide resistance management and herbicides used in crops.
