The economic importance of cereals in a cool climate, adaptation, morphology, physiological processes, diseases and pests, and to get to know the consumption areas
Theoretical: on the general part, the economical importance of cereals in the world and Turkey,adaptation, the seed, growing period, physiological events, germination, tillering, condition of shoot,leave, flower, nutrients, maturity, on the special part, the economical importance, growing areas, classifications, growing techniques, the important varieties grown in Turkey,pests and diseases and consumption areas of wheat,barley,oat, rye, triticale plants

| 1. | To be able to comprehend the importance of the cerals on the agricultural production and To be able to compare the criteria distinction of the cereals of cold climate |
| 2. | To be able to give information to the producers about proposing the types of cereals, providing the material, production process and about the problems and their solution which can be faced |
