Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to classify Field Crops and to show the processes of the plants in these classes from planting to harvest. The life cycle of the plants grown in the region is shown to the students.

Course Content

Field crops grown in the region are determined and classified. A plant from each class will be grown and their growth and development periods will be demonstrated in practice. It is the determination and implementation of agricultural activities in the specified periods. Thus, it is aimed to increase the practical knowledge of the students.

2.Ability to identify problems and use appropriate techniques and tools for Field Crops practices, including designing, conducting, and interpreting experiments/projects

4.Ability to design and implement a complex system, process, or product related to Field Crops practices to meet specific requirements
5.Ability to communicate findings and interpretations clearly in both written and oral forms
6.Ability to act independently and creatively within ethical principles, with awareness of lifelong professional ethics and responsibility
7.Ability to evaluate the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soils in relation to sustainable agriculture and analyze results based on plant-soil-water inter
