Objectives of the Course

To provide professional knowledge on the economic importance, taxonomy, plant characteristics, and cultivation of oilseed crops and starch-sugar crops, which are included in industrial plants.

Course Content

The importance, adaptation, and cultivation of oilseed and starch-sugar crops, particularly their tuber-based plant characteristics, within the category of industrial crops; the plant characteristics and cultivation of sweet potatoes; the economic importance, adaptation, and crop rotation of sugar beets, particularly their root-stem-based plant characteristics and cultivation; and the plant characteristics and cultivation of sugarcane.
