Objectives of the Course

At the end of the course, students will acquire the knowledge and skills to carry out an investment project, and will have the ability to decide whether it will be profitable to invest in the relevant field by conducting the feasibility of the investment before committing to the investment.

Course Content

Agricultural project preparation issues to take into account the theoretical framework and the application stages taking account topic for preparation of the business plan.

Presentation of the lesson; the scope of rule and requirements

Investment and project concepts, the project, a range of agricultural projects
Week 3 - Theoretical
Market study, analysis of the competitive environment in the market, demand estimation methods
Week 4 - Theoretical
Determination of scale size (capacity) for the project, factors affecting capacity selection, capacity types, break-even analysis

Technical direction of the project is taken into account (selection of the technology, specifications)
Week 6 - Theoretical
Objective and subjective methods used in establishment location selection, factors affecting establishment site selection

Sources of financing that can be used in projects, financing plan, cost of capital, value for money time value, reduction rate selection
