Objectives of the Course

Provide the student with the fundamental knowledge about genetic relationship and teaching them to measure the coefficient of relationships based on pedigree and genome based methods by using R-programming language.

Course Content Explanation of relationships, calculation of coefficient of relationship and inbreeding by using Malecot and Wright’s approaches, Relationship matrix of Henderson, relationship and relationship matrix in honeybees, genome-base relationship
