-To emphasize the importance of using experimental animals in scientific studies; -To inform students about breeding and producing experimental animals
The content of the course is based on informing the trainees about the breeding of experimental animals, about the production methods for them and about the knowledge related with breeds, with the characteristics of races, with the maintenance, the accommodation, the feeding and the necessary environmental conditions for mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils.

| 5. | To know the appropriate breeding techniques, the maintenance, the nutrition and the housing of the experimental animals and the effective environmental conditions and health protection strategies for them, etc. and to be able to make the necessary arrangements |
