Objectives of the Course

At the end of this course, the students will learn the basic concepts and approaches of rural development and acquire the skills to analyse rural development studies and projects and they will become as experienced as to be able to work in the rural development studies that are going to be conducted in the following years and that are being conducted.

Course Content

Purposes and instruments of rural development studies and the methods applied. Potential determination and inventory studies in rural development. Techniques of problem analysis, determination of priorities, risk analysis and solution approaches in rural development studies

1.Learning the basic characteristics of rural development policies and their practices
2.To acquire an analytical perspective that can produce solutions to rural problems
