Objectives of the Course

The objectives of this course are; to teach students the legal and technical information related to the preparation of the tender file, to have students had knowledge about the subjects such as reconnaissance report (i.e. contracts, technical and special specifications, bill of quantities) and technical report preparation.

Course Content

This course explains the methods of preparation of the cost amounts of the projects, the methods of subtracting, making exploration and converting them into bid and tender dossier. Midterm evaluation consists of attending lectures (Performance) (5%), two quizzes (%15) and one midterm exam (20%), totaling 40%. The end-of-semester assessment is conducted based on the final examination, which constitutes 60% of the overall evaluation. Students who retake the course are obliged to fulfill all assignments, attending lectures/performance activities, and examinations anew within the scope of the current assessment and evaluation procedures of the course.

Learning Outcomes

1.	Establishment of tender dossier and reconnaissance report preparation issues in landscape architecture
2.	To be able to comprehend the importance of structural and plants technical knowledge besides three dimensional vision in preparation of the report of discovery and gain ability to reconcile project studies along with it.
3.	To be able to learn the necessary legal and technical procedure to prepare the tender dossier and to transfer it to practice.
4.	To be able to realize the importance of practical applications in designing landscaping projects and realistic studies in design approaches
5.	To be able to prepare a tender file for a landscape project
6.	To be able to prepare a bid file for a public landscape tender
