This course is aimed at: gaining ability for analysing, interpreting and collecting data of aerial photographs and satellite images by using Intergraph ERDAS Imagine software.
Introducing remote sensing, creating and interpreting spatial data from aerial photographs and different types of satellite images by using Intergraph ERDAS Imagine, learning softwares and hardwares used in remote sensing. Midterm evaluation consists of attending lectures (Performance) assessment (5%) and one midterm exam (35%), totaling 40%. The end-of-semester assessment is conducted based on the final examination, which constitutes 60% of the overall evaluation. Students who retake the course are obliged to fulfill all assignments, attending lectures/performance activities, and examinations anew within the scope of the current assessment and evaluation procedures of the course.
