Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to equip landscape architecture students with knowledge and skills in digital visualization, animation, and photorealistic presentation techniques. The goal is to develop students' competencies in effectively modeling landscape design projects, assigning materials, designing lighting, rendering, creating animations, and preparing professional presentations using Lumion and V-Ray software.

Course Content

This course covers current visualization technologies used in landscape architecture. The first seven weeks will involve real-time visualization, environmental creation, planting, animation, and video production using Lumion software. The final seven weeks will focus on photorealistic rendering techniques, material creation, lighting, camera settings, atmospheric effects, and professional outdoor visualization methods using V-Ray software. The goal is for students to be able to transform their landscape projects into visually appealing presentations meeting international standards by the end of the course.
