Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to present the basic concepts such as urban, urban planning, urbanization and urban areas to the students in order to understand the city as an ecosystem and to understand the phases of the urban planning process and the physical processes that guide the use of space in urban areas and to use the professional competences in urban planning.

Basic concepts such as city, urban planning and urbanization, urban parts and urban ecosystem, phases of urban planning process and physical plan stages in cities, participation of landscape architects in physical plans
