Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational activities that support the physical, mental, emotional, and social development of individuals with disabilities. It also aims to introduce various activity types suitable for different disability groups, promote inclusive approaches, and raise awareness in society.

Course Content

Covers types of disabilities, importance of recreation for individuals with disabilities, recreational practices for physical, intellectual, visual, auditory and multiple disabilities, developing individualized programs, inclusive design and accessible environments, social awareness, and volunteer applications.
