In the 2004-2005 academic year it started education

Proceeding through the line set by the gains of our democratic and secular republic, in the light of the principles and reforms of Atatürk; to train highly qualified individuals who believe in the rule of law, equipped on the national and international level, adopting the modern and ethical values that can contribute to science, technology, culture and the arts. In addition to educating qualified Sports Managers that have assimilated the values of the information society; its mission is to be a department cited as an example with the Sports Managers it trained, generating and applying knowledge in the areas related to the profession of management, education and training.

To be a department with all its staff and students proud of being members of it, a pioneer in educating individuals with the qualifications required of the information age, having difficult but accessible dreams and ideals, carrying a high level of human dignity and love. To be a department which aims to train educators and scientists taking responsibility and being free in decision-making, with critical thinking, creative, solving problems, being adhere to the principles of education in educating Sports Managers for primary and secondary education, making basic and applied, original scientific research into the areas of Education, training, sports science and management profession, providing in-service training programs to the relevant institutions about the issues needed by the Sports community, doing research about the issues that the institutions need and organizing scientific activities intended for enlightening the employees of educational institutions, executing the function of creating the value system in the cultural, artistic and sports field, in accordance with the Scientific criteria and the responsibility to serve the community at universal standards, contributing to the happiness of society, seminal, able to lead the society in a changing world.

To train Sports Managers who know the emotional, social, cognitive and physical development of individuals, use the teaching methods, benefit from the teaching technology, follow the changes and developments in the field of physical education and sport, own a high level of general culture and personality traits required for the teaching profession, have acquired the necessary professional formation.
