This course aims to help students understand the fundamental principles of animal nutrition and feeds, the types and importance of roughage and concentrate feeds in feeding, the nutrient composition of feeds and their role in animal nutrition, and the basic principles of feeding cattle, sheep, goat, poultry, horses, pigs, cats, and dogs.
This course includes an introduction to feed types and their nutrient composition, feeds used in farm animals, commercial feeds and feed additives, the basic information about digestive physiology of farm animals, and the nutrition of dairy cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, cats, and dogs.
