Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach the definition of markers, morphological, biochemical, and DNA-based markers. It also aims to teach molecular diagnosis in prokaryotic organisms, the study of gene regions in the nucleus, chloroplasts, and mitochondria of eukaryotic organisms, and their application in phylogenetic analysis using bioinformatics tools.

Course Content

The course covers the definition of markers, the use of morphological, biochemical, and DNA-based markers in agriculture, molecular diagnosis in eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms, learning about gene regions, phylogenetic analysis methods, and the bioinformatics tools used.
