The aim of this course is to introduce quantitative methods used in solving decision-making problems encountered in human resource management and to develop students’ skills in data-driven decision making, optimization, and problem solving within HR processes. The course aims to enable students to apply fundamental quantitative techniques in workforce planning, resource allocation, project management, and decision-making processes.
This course examines quantitative methods, optimization techniques, and operations research tools used in decision-making processes within the context of human resource management. Topics such as decision theory, decision trees, linear programming, sensitivity analysis, transportation and assignment models, project management, and game theory are discussed in relation to HR applications.
