Objectives of the Course

The main objective of the course is to have information on human rights and ensure the increased sensitivity and effort it. Need for human rights both at the national level there is a continuous development in international law. On the one hand is in compliance with national legislation and international conventions that we practice hand, the decision of the Convention on the other hand, international monitoring mechanisms "livable" makes it, they embody the provisions of the Convention. The aim of the courses in this line with the developments in national and international law to reflect the students. In addition, a European individual application to bring the mechanisms of the Human Rights Convention, to be a judicial organ of the control mechanism of the European Court of Human Rights Convention, and are not obliged to comply with the country party to the judgment of the ECHR requires the Convention as specific and detailed as to be addressed.

Course Content

The issues to be discussed primarily the definition of the concept of human rights, are the historical development and species. Turkish approach to the human rights of the Constitution, the 1982 Constitution with fundamental rights and the fundamental rights of the limited regime with freedom in national law After discussing the protection of human rights will be discussed the protection of human rights in international law. International agreements relating to the first human rights protection mechanisms related to them in this context and will be described in general. Then the European Court of Human Rights will be discussed Convention, in particular, the European Court of Human Rights to the states and individual remedies, the admissibility of the application and examination stage in terms of principles, rights guaranteed in the contract with the nature and practice of the court's decision and will be given freedom. European Human Rights Convention will examine issues related to the light of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights.
