Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to examine the theories of state and bureaucracy in the context of the state-civil society dichotomy after comprehending the economic and social organization forms of humanity and the development of the modern state in the State and Bureaucracy Theories I course.

Course Content

Theories on the imagination of the modern state, state-civil society dualism, classical political economy school, Tocqueville, Hegel, Marx, Gramsci, Althusser, Weber, bureaucracy and bureaucratic organization, theories of bureaucracy, Misses, Pareto, Bruno Rizzi's intellectual contributions constitute the content of the course.
