The aim of this course is to provide the students with an introductory information about modeling of problems encountered in decision-making situations in uncertainty, risk, certainty and multinational environments, development of solution proposals and analysis.
In this course, the student learns the theoretical methods of choosing the most over multiple alternatives. Learns the assumptions and steps of the methods you can use in the literature in order to choose among the selected alternatives.
| Assoc. Prof. Algın OKURSOY |
| 1. | Explain the decision-making process, decision environments, and basic components of decision problems in logistics decision-making. |
| 2. | Analyze decision problems under certainty, uncertainty, and risk using appropriate decision criteria. |
| 3. | Model sequential decision problems using decision trees and Bayes’ theorem and evaluate them through the expected value approach. |
| 4. | Determine criteria weights and alternative priorities in multi-criteria logistics decision problems using AHP and ANP methods. |
| 5. | Rank logistics decision alternatives using TOPSIS, ELECTRE, and VIKOR methods, interpret the results, and develop decision recommendations. |
