Objectives of the Course

This course aims to teach the importance of an advertisement in integrated marketing activities, the advertising management process and its operation, and the regulations related to advertising based on national and international examples.

Course Content

This course covers topics such as how a brand's advertisement is processed in the advertising agency in terms of its marketing strategy, how it works in advertising management, advertising effects and advertising effects of globalization, and advertising audit principles.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Marketing, marketing mix, marketing management, market types, advertising objectives, advertising concept, classification of advertisement, place of advertisement in integrated marketing communication, social, economic and legal aspects of advertising, advertising management concept.
Week 2 - Theoretical
The Advertising and Communication Process, the effective use of communication in advertising, the development of advertising messages, and the functioning of advertising agencies (advertising agencies, advertising departments of businesses, advertising departments of media).
Week 3 - Theoretical
Creative process in advertising, advertising and creative strategy, creative tactics (message content and shape).
Week 4 - Theoretical
Development of Advertising Media Program.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Advertising management and factors affecting people, consumer trends, consumer behavior and consumer buying behaviors.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Planning and Decision-making Process in Advertising Management I (Situation analysis, determination of advertisement target, advertising strategy, advertising budget, advertisement production, media selection, assessment of advertising effectiveness).
