The objective of this course is to provide students with the theoretical foundations, strategic planning stages, and practical application methods of political communication campaigns. Within the scope of this course, it is aimed for students to acquire skills in analyzing voter behavior, constructing candidate images and political discourse, effectively using traditional and digital media tools, and managing crisis situations. Consequently, the course aims to enable students to both analyze modern election campaigns from a scientific perspective and design professional campaigns within ethical frameworks.
This course comprehensively examines the foundations of political communication and the implementation processes of election campaigns. Throughout the course, the historical development of political campaign models, voter behavior, public opinion research, target audience analysis, and candidate image management are discussed. Additionally, political discourse construction, traditional and digital media strategies, propaganda techniques, crisis management, and the legal and ethical boundaries in political communication are conveyed through case studies.
