Objectives of the Course

The aims of this course are to put forward the communication dimension of marketing, to examine the process of successful IMC campaigns in depth and to serve successful campaigns as a model for students in professional life.

Course Content

This course allows students to deeply understand the communication dimension of marketing by exploring the promotion mix, under the framework of marketing, with an integrated approach.

1.They will gain the ability to interpret the reasons, process, and results of the transition from traditional marketing to integrated marketing.
2.They will have general knowledge about the traditional marketing process.
3.They acquire basic knowledge of public relations, a field within integrated marketing communication tools.
4.They acquire basic knowledge of advertising, a field within integrated marketing communication tools.
5.They acquire basic knowledge of sponsorship, a field within integrated marketing communication tools.
6.They will acquire basic knowledge of personal selling, a component of integrated marketing communication tools.
7.They acquire basic knowledge of direct marketing, one of the integrated marketing communication tools.
8.They will acquire basic knowledge of customer relationship management, which is one of the integrated marketing communication tools.
9.They gain basic knowledge of point-of-purchase communication through integrated marketing communication tools.
