Objectives of the Course

In this course, it is aimed to teach the students that skeletal anomalies are three dimensional rather than two dimensional and with which tools they can be diagnosed.

Course Content

In this course, it will be explained to students that skeletal orthodontic anomalies should be examined not only with panoramic and cephalometric films but also with three-dimensional cephalometric films and three-dimensional photographs that have been used with the development of technology in the last two decades.

1.Learn the concept of three-dimensional cephalometry and three-dimensional photography
2.Learn importance of tranversal direction anomalies especially in sagittal direction
3.Understand the importance of the concept of the third dimension that has come up with technological developments.
4.Learn the effects of the anomalies in the vertical direction on the face.
5.Students will learn the effects of teeth correction on the face.
