Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide fundamental knowledge of dental anatomy, physiology, and occlusion, as well as to teach the principles of various prosthetic restorations and the properties of prosthetic materials.

Course Content

Teaching the morphology of permanent teeth and demonstrating tooth carving techniques; explaining and performing the laboratory procedures for jacket crowns, veneer restorations, and full crowns.

1.Explains the fundamental concepts of dental anatomy, physiology, and occlusion using scientific terminology and analyzes dental morphology.
2.Interprets the morphological characteristics of teeth and their occlusal relationships.
3.Applies the clinical and laboratory procedures of basic prosthetic restorations and evaluates their outcomes.
4.Analyzes the principles of tooth preparation and applies appropriate preparation techniques in clinical practice.
5.Defines the materials used in dental practice and basic digital/technological tools, and evaluates their appropriate use.
6.Explains the fundamental principles of professional ethics in patient communication and demonstrates professional conduct in laboratory practices.
