To diagnose correctly, to determine microbiology of endodontic ınfections, to learn postendodontic treatment detail and to gain manual dexterity by practice root canal treatment with all stages on extracted human teeth.
Diagnosis and treatment planning ın endodontics, vital pulp therapies, tooth morphologies and opening access cavities, effects of caries and restorative materials to pulp, ındication and contraindication for root canal treatment, ınstruments, chemomechanical debridment, endodontic microbiology, root canal filling materials and techniques, posttreatment healing and postendodontic restoration.
| 1. | Explains the etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical features of pulpal and periapical diseases. |
| 2. | Correctly performs and interprets endodontic diagnostic methods, including pulp vitality tests, radiography, and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). |
| 3. | Selects and appropriately uses irrigants, intracanal medicaments, and root canal filling materials during root canal treatment. |
| 4. | Identifies and manages complications of endodontic treatment, including acute flare-ups and causes of treatment failure. |
| 5. | Evaluates and performs retreatment and endodontic surgical procedures according to their indications. |
| 6. | Plans and performs the restoration of endodontically treated teeth using appropriate materials and techniques. |
