Course Content

Clinical observation of orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, removable/functional/fixed appliance applications, and case follow-up processes.

Name of Lecturer(s)
Learning Outcomes
1.Observe and explain advanced orthodontic clinic workflow, case allocation, and treatment-process management; comply with infection control, patient confidentiality, and ethical rules in the clinic.
2.Observe orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, and case-presentation processes, and interpret the relationship between model/cephalometric analysis findings and treatment decisions.
3.Observe the session-by-session course of treatments with removable, functional, and fixed appliances (activation, archwire changes, anchorage, compliance), and relate the procedures to treatment principles.
4.Observe the clinical treatment course of different malocclusion types (Class I/II/III, transverse) and special cases (impacted teeth, hypodontia, interdisciplinary, TMJ, adult, orthognathic-surgical), and interpret the differences in approach between cases.
5.Observe treatment finishing, retention, relapse, and long-term stability processes, and evaluate completed cases comparatively pre/post treatment.
