Observation of the clinical applications of the theoretical orthodontic education given in the third and fourth years, at an advanced level through case follow-up and treatment course.
Clinical observation of orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, removable/functional/fixed appliance applications, and case follow-up processes.
| 1. | Observe and explain advanced orthodontic clinic workflow, case allocation, and treatment-process management; comply with infection control, patient confidentiality, and ethical rules in the clinic. |
| 2. | Observe orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, and case-presentation processes, and interpret the relationship between model/cephalometric analysis findings and treatment decisions. |
| 3. | Observe the session-by-session course of treatments with removable, functional, and fixed appliances (activation, archwire changes, anchorage, compliance), and relate the procedures to treatment principles. |
| 4. | Observe the clinical treatment course of different malocclusion types (Class I/II/III, transverse) and special cases (impacted teeth, hypodontia, interdisciplinary, TMJ, adult, orthognathic-surgical), and interpret the differences in approach between cases. |
| 5. | Observe treatment finishing, retention, relapse, and long-term stability processes, and evaluate completed cases comparatively pre/post treatment. |
