The aim of this course is to enable students to translate their theoretical knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of endodontic diseases into clinical practice and to equip them with the knowledge, clinical skills, and professional attitudes required to perform patient assessment, clinical and radiographic examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and non-surgical endodontic treatment in accordance with current scientific principles. The course also aims to develop students' ability to perform clinical procedures in compliance with the principles of infection control, ergonomics, patient safety, professional ethics, and effective communication. In addition, students are expected to keep abreast of current endodontic literature, critically appraise scientific evidence, prepare and deliver seminars on assigned topics, and develop their scientific presentation and professional knowledge-sharing skills.

In this course, students, under the supervision of faculty members, obtain patients' medical and dental histories, perform clinical and radiographic examinations, establish endodontic diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans. They perform the fundamental clinical procedures of non-surgical endodontic treatment while developing safe, evidence-based clinical practice in accordance with the principles of infection control, patient safety, clinical documentation, professional communication, and ethics. In addition, students conduct literature reviews on current topics in endodontics, prepare and deliver seminars, critically appraise scientific evidence, and further develop their scientific presentation and professional communication skills.
