The main objective of this course is to introduce the history of health psychology, the basic concepts such as health / disease / well-being and the main fields of study of this discipline, and the basic propositions of theoretical perspectives that contribute to the development of health psychology. In the light of this information, within the framework of the biopsychosocial model, applications for preventive and well-being intervention-education programs in the main areas of health psychology such as the protection and maintenance of health and improving the quality of life will be handled together with different cases and chronic diseases.
