Objectives of the Course

To have knowledge about teaching Turkish to bilingual Turkish children

Course Content

Turkish migration abroad, effects of migration; education status of Turkish children abroad; the legal basis of mother tongue education abroad and Turkish and Turkish culture courses abroad; bilingualism, bilingualism and its types; theories, methods and techniques in teaching Turkish to two languages; Turkish and Turkish culture course teaching programs; Activity and material design for Turkish and Turkish culture.

1.	Defines the concepts of bilingualism and multiculturalism. Have knowledge about the cultural problems of bilingual and produce solutions to them.
2.	Have knowledge about language problems of bilingual and produce solutions to them.
3.	Turkish children living abroad knows the methods used in Turkey Turkish education.
4.	Turkey Turkish children living abroad to understand how to apply the methods and techniques of teaching Turkish.
