Objectives of the Course

This course is concerned with the epidemiyology and physiopathology of chronic disaseses related to nutrition such as diabetes mellitus, obesity, metabolic sendrom, hypertension and cancer.

Description and epidemiyology of chronic diseases General knowledge about the physiology of the the endocrine system General knowledge about the physiology of the digestive system General knowledge about the carbonhydrate and lipid metabolism Aging Nutritional disorders Diabetes mellitus Metabolic sendrom Atherosclerosis Hypertension Cancer and nutrition Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis Neurodegenerative diseases
