Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to increase student's awareness of the negative effects of technology that we frequently use today, to teach strategies to cope with the negative effects of technology and to use the correct technology.

Course Content

The content of this course, basic concepts, positive and negative aspects of technology, addiction, internet, game, smartphone and social network addiction, what is cyberbullying, its types, prevalence, research, awareness of students and coping strategies.

1.Knows the concepts of addiction and technology addiction.
2.Explains the levels, causes and symptoms of technology addiction.
3.Explains the negative effects of technology addiction on work, school, health and home life.

5.Can use the strategies to cope with the negative effects of technology in accordance with the context.
6.Can take measures against the negative effects of technology.
