Course Content

To give an overview of cell, tissue, organ and system physiology.

Name of Lecturer(s)
Prof. Güler ÜNAL
Learning Outcomes
1.Explains the importance of the structure and function of a cell, particularly the cell wall, in a healthy organism.
2.Explains the mechanisms that maintain the internal balance necessary for the healthy functioning of organs and tissues.
3.Explains the body’s adaptation and defense mechanisms against adverse environmental factors encountered during life.
4.Emphasizes the importance of emotional and physical needs required by the body, especially during the growth period.
5.Explains how the body obtains the necessary molecules during nutrition, how they are transported to all cells in the body, and how waste products generated in cells are eliminated.
6.Explains the interaction mechanisms between the nervous and endocrine systems in the body’s defense system.
