The aim of this course is to enable students to evaluate the educational processes of individuals with special needs within the framework of inclusive education, to plan learning environments appropriate to individual differences, and to develop effective inclusion practices through the use of Universal Design for Learning, differentiated instruction, and support education practices.
This course examines inclusive education and mainstreaming concepts, the least restrictive environment, support special education services, the Individualized Education Program (IEP) development process, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, collaborative practices, family involvement, classroom management, technology-supported inclusion, and current approaches to inclusive education.
