Objectives of the Course

The purpose is to have students gain basic knowledge about child plays, family, environment and peer playing an important role in cultural structure of the child as well as perception of child in Turkish society and other societies.

Course Content

Child concept in Turkey and different cultures; child in changing world; child perception in Turkey and different cultures; development in the concept of child and childhood; children?s plays; language usages and play.
