Objective of this course is to learn and implement developmental evaluation and observation techniques and to be able to evidence based interpretation
Acquire the knowledge about evaluation, definition and varieties, be able to understand and explain observations and their details. Be able to apply techniques of observation types and interpret the results.
| 1. | Analyzes the theoretical foundations of observation and recording techniques used in developmental assessment of children. |
| 2. | Compares direct and indirect observation methods and selects appropriate observation techniques for assessing different developmental domains. |
| 3. | Collects and interprets developmental data by applying data collection tools such as anecdotal records, event sampling, time sampling, checklists, and rating scales. |
| 4. | Evaluates children's developmental characteristics by analyzing findings obtained from portfolios and observation records. |
| 5. | Reports and presents observation and assessment results in accordance with scientific and ethical principles and develops recommendations for educational practices. |
