Objectives of the Course

To be informed about the applicability of professional formation in the field of child development and special education.

Course Content

The definition of the seminar, its content, its departments, scanning the current literature in the field of child development, examining the scientific data in the literature, making comments, paying attention to the terminology used in the seminar and using the current terminology, determining the subject of the seminar, accessing up-to-date information on the subject (not only via google academic, using the library database and books), citing references in the text and complying with APA format in the bibliography, preparing the seminar presentation, presenting the seminar appropriately

1.Searches for and evaluates current national and international scientific literature on a selected topic in child development using various information sources (e.g., databases, library resources).
2.Prepares a seminar report in accordance with the principles of scientific ethics, academic writing standards, and APA citation guidelines.
3.Analyzes, synthesizes, and interprets scientific evidence in the field of child development using an evidence-based approach.
4.Effectively presents a seminar on a child development topic using appropriate academic presentation techniques and current professional terminology.
5.Participates in scientific discussions, critically evaluates different perspectives, and provides constructive feedback during seminar presentations.
