The aim of this course is to introduce therapeutic recreation programs designed to improve individuals' health, well-being, and quality of life, and to teach their application processes. Students will gain knowledge and skills to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational activities for individuals with special needs and various target groups
Purpose, definition, importance and history of therapeutic recreation, recreational application areas; sports, dance, drama and play therapy. Planning, management and implementation of recreational activities. Terminology and support systems used in therapeutic recreation services.
