Objectives of the Course

To teach how to spread the phenomenon of games from the first human to the present day and to determine the factors that affect the formation of games in different societies

Course Content

The movements that started with the first human being turned into a game and then became a sport and the perspectives of all societies and countries to the sport until today

1.Explain the problems of philosophy and the main lines of the philosophy of sports.
2.Examines the main lines of the philosophy of sports and discusses the relationship between philosophy and the philosophy of sports.
3.Knows the concept of games and sports and discusses their place in ancient civilizations.
4.Discusses the relationship and differences between games and sports.
5.Analyzes the modern and ancient Olympic games and their events in chronological order.
6.Knows the developments in Turkish sports history before and after the Republic.
