Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with information about human rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the European Convention on human rights, the philosophical foundations of human rights and democracy, the Society Convention, collective life, the process of transforming the principle of human rights and democracy into Behavior, Human Rights in the dimensions of input, process and output in the primary

Course Content

Understanding the historical development of human rights, understanding the transition process of human rights to International Space, understanding how human rights are protected at national and international levels, understanding the importance of human rights and Citizenship Education.

Learning Outcomes
1.Define the concepts of rights and human rights.
2.Explain what are fundamental human rights and freedoms, social and economic rights and duties, and political rights and duties.
3.Knows and can explain the history of human rights (Hammurabi Code, Cyrus Cylinder, Magna Carta, etc.).
4.Knows the intellectual premises of human rights.
5.Knows the United Nations Convention on Human Rights and can explain its universality.
6.Can explain the concepts of democracy, freedom and equality.
