Objectives of the Course

This course is designed to an introduction to main environmental problems (pollution, loss of bidiversity, global warming, population explosion, famine and poverty) and the policies formulated to eliminate or decrease them at local, national and global level

Course Content

Ecology, ecosystems, air, soil and water pollution, loss of biodiversity, global warming, population explosion, poverty, sustainable development, clean energy, environmental politics, environmental ethics, global environmental organizations and their policies, Turkish environmental organizations and policies

Learning Outcomes
1.Students the concept of environment, size and scope of the environment, will have basic knowledge about global environmental issues.
2.Students ecology, environmental economics will acquire different fields such as scientific equipment.
3.Students world wide importance of sustainable environment and development agenda of the current information about the owner, will have a vision about the relationship between management and environment.
4.Learn about the responsibilities of the organs of public administration and environmental management, environmental policy to have the necessary infrastructure will be provided.
5.Getting ready for exams in the field.
